SGS SAFETY GUN STRAP
We are hunters and at the same time both curious and interested in driving the development forward in terms of good products and tools for hunters. We are Harpsöe Sweden.
SGS Safety Gun Strap. Swedish-made auxiliary strap that holds the gun in place.
Animals and nature have given me calm since childhood. Just hearing the wind’s music in the forest along with the smell of bark and moss makes you find peace. Being able to combine this feeling with excitement and pulse I found incredibly wonderful when at the age of 36 I took the hunting degree. But one thing was a major annoyance. The rifle! Having to put so much focus on just holding the gun in a safe way, made the inner calm, not 100%
Ergonomic posture as it relieves on both sides of the back
I searched the market for a product that could work with and without a backpack, it could also be removed when I did not want it but still be able to use my usual gun belt. A product that made it possible to walk freely with both hands, but still with a simple movement to get the gun in the plant as fast as usual.
When I didn’t find a good solution, I designed my own. The solution was SGS: Safety Gun Strap. With the help of SGS, I combine the advantages of my usual weapon strap, for example in construction with the help of belt support. SGS gives me a more ergonomic stance as it relieves on both sides of the back. Now I can walk unobstructed without constantly holding the rifle in place with one hand so as not to drop it.
Designed to fit most weapon straps
SGS is designed to fit most weapon straps out there on the market. It fits both right and left shooters and you can carry the weapon on the right or left shoulder. Making it fit you and your needs is just an adjustment issue. It doesn’t have to sit on all the time. After the shot when you want to get rid of the gun. Then you can pull it out of your pocket and get the rifle firmly on your back to take it about the game.

What people are saying about SGS Weapon belt?
“The gun sits in place no matter how many branches pull in the weapon.
I have helped David evaluate his weapon belt and I have yet to find anything to complain about. On the contrary, I was surprised at how much energy and focus I had previously put on just keeping track of the gun. Now I can instead have full focus on what is ahead of me in the terrain.
Among the best thing about the strap is that I fasten the gun immediately when I arrive with the car for a search. Then I can calmly retrieve the dog and other equipment without having to worry about the weapon falling off and danger on the hill. The gun sits in place no matter how many branches pull in the weapon. It sits there until I release the quick attachment and take off my gun.
I don’t find anything negative with Harpsöe Sweden SGS. It is not even in the way when you need to apply quickly and fire. This strap is clearly something I will use on all searches ahead!”
You don’t have to worry about the gun slipping off when tracking with the dog.
I had the opportunity to test this strap and already during the first search, I realized that SGS was a really good complement. You don’t have to worry about the gun slipping off when tracking with the dog. The gun sits in place in the snuggest and tight parts. While it is easy to get to the shooting position with this strap! A big plus is that you can also move it to different bushes and straps without having to replace your existing strap.
I will continue to use this strap as the gun stays on its back and does not move around as before.
